Capita reveals name for merged consultancy firm

Capita Hartshead and Bluefin Corporate Consulting will operate as a combined business under the new name of Capita Employee Benefits from November.

It follows the acquisition of Bluefin Corporate Consulting by Capita in April.

The combined business will offer a range of services including pension administration and consultancy, data cleansing, investment and actuarial consulting, and the design and implementation of health, risk and flexible benefits.

Capita Employee Benefits chief executive of the combined business Nick Burns, said: "I'm excited to announce the formation of Capita's employee benefits business.

"We have big plans for the business and believe we will be well placed to address the needs of existing and new clients in this constantly changing market."

Capita's employee benefits business will employ 2,400 people in London, Sheffield and 22 other locations across Britain and Ireland.
