Ageas business protection will have strong online capability

Ageas' incoming business protection proposition will be heavily based on online capability.

The provider could not reveal specific details about the product but has said it will not be far away from traditional business protection products.

Darren Spriggs, managing director of Ageas, said: "Business protection is a product is relatively standard and straight forward. The design on it will be more about making it easy to interact with an set up.

"The features will be pretty much as you expect but there will be a strong emphasis on online and underwriting."

Spriggs did not reveal specific launch dates but said Ageas was in "the final throws" of getting the proposition ready.
