Scottish Friendly has announced partnership with Neilson Financial Services (NFS) to develop its UK life insurance business.
The move will see Scottish Friendly issuing life insurance policies designed for NFS' Smart insurance brand.
which will see the company play a significant role in the UK life insurance market under their new Smart Insurance brand with an innovative suite of customer focused life insurance products.
The organisation anticipates 50% of its core annual premium income will come from life partnerships in the next year.
Neil Lovatt, sales and marketing director of Scottish Friendly, said: "This partnership marks another major milestone in the diversification of the Scottish Friendly. We look forward to developing the partnership further."
It is the second deal for Scottish Friendly in a month following the launch of Beagle Street Insurance in July.
