AXA PPP healthcare has introduced a call back service to give parents of infants up to the age of one access to information and support from a midwife or nurse.
Available to members with an individual health insurance policy, the call back service is being offered to parents when they get in touch to add the child to their policy.
And, if members wish to use the service, AXA PPP will arrange for a personal call back from one of its midwives or nurses to discuss any questions they may have regarding their child's (or, for that matter, their own) health and wellbeing.
Sonia Wolsey-Cooper, AXA PPP healthcare's membership and people director, said: "We understand the demands parents can face as they adapt to the arrival of a new baby and strive to give them the best start in life.
"I am confident that our call back service will provide welcome support for families as they deal with the many challenges that come with parenthood."
The call back service is provided by AXA PPP's Health at Hand health information service, which gives members 24/7 access to telephone support from its dedicated team of nurses, midwives, pharmacists and counsellors.
