LV= has launched an apprenticeship programme for its life insurance and retirement customer service teams.
The Financial Services Apprenticeship Programme will be governed by the National Skills Academy for Financial Services (NSAFS) and will be tailored to LV='s individual offices.
The programme will aim to develop employee technical knowledge in the relevant area and will provide either one-to-one or group study sessions.
Richard Rowney, managing director for life and pensions at LV=, said: "We are committed to investing in our current workforce to help them grow in their careers and we hope to attract more talent to LV= by giving people the opportunity to develop with us. Offering this financial training also helps us to maintain a high standard of service."
The apprenticeship will take 18 months to achieve the Certificate in Financial Services and a CII award in Financial Administration; the equivalent to an NVQ level three.
Nigel Benton, executive director at the National Skills Academy Financial Services, wished all candidates the best of luck.
