Simplyhealth is to combine its private medical insurance (PMI) operations in one location.
The healthcare provider envisages that this will take at least 18 months.
Jamie Wilson, sales and marketing director at Simplyhealth says: "Simplyhealth purchased the UK healthcare business of Groupama Insurances in April. This has helped us to grow our private health insurance business and help more people with their healthcare choices.
"Since completing our purchase we have been looking closely at how best to align the business, systems and people with the rest of the Simplyhealth operation, while maintaining our service to customers."
Simplyhealth has an operation in Bristol, where two operations are duplicate functions and which will be combined.
The location for the combined operation will remain Bristol where the company has just begun work on a new building.
Wilson added: "We will seek to create as many opportunities for people to relocate as possible.
"We will also ensure that service levels remain high, so our customers and clients continue to receive the excellent personal service that they rightly expect."
