clock

Friends Life's protection team will be raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support by taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on 30 June.

The 19 walkers will be leaving their Salford Quays offices to take part in the 26-mile hike across the peaks in ten hours.

Kate McDowell, management sponsor for the Friends Life employees, said: "The team are really looking forward to taking on this challenge. It is for a great cause and they hope they can complete it in the given time."

The team hope to raise £1,900 which will be added to other monies. Last year the provider's employees raised £40,000 for Macmillan.
