Aviva launches International PMI marketing push

Aviva UK Health has launched an intermediary marketing campaign on the benefits of selling international private medical insurance.

The provider has revealed a new website, avivainternationalsolutions.com, which includes a range of information including product brochures.

The website includes a map showing relevant health-related information from a range of countries and also a translation tool, enabling intermediaries to translate a block of text.

Teresa Rogers, international sales and marketing manager at Aviva UK Health said:
"Whereas in the UK, private health insurance is an alternative to the state system or an employee perk, in many countries, international health insurance is mandatory for those requiring a work visa.

"Worryingly, our recent research showed that over a third (34%) of young workers considering moving abroad wouldn't consider it important to take out international health insurance.

"We want to encourage intermediaries to learn more about the international market so that they can confidently talk to their clients about their international medical insurance needs."

In return for visiting the site and using the new ‘round the world tool', Aviva is offering intermediaries the chance to win £1000 Thomas Cook vouchers to spend on a dream holiday of their choice.
