Zurich has launched a microsite dedicated to protection.
The provider says Zurich4protection.com aims to help an adviser offer a comprehensive and professional service to clients whilst helping the industry try to bridge the protection gap.
It includes templates to help advisers kick start an effective protection campaign, a new interactive sales kit, customer video case studies and tips on talking customers through the importance of protection.
The site also features advice on handling difficult questions and calculators for ‘running a family', ‘life costs' and ‘treats' to help show customers where cover is needed and how savings can be made to pay for it.
A separate range of tools is also available for advisers wanting to grow into the business protection arena.
Peter Hamilton, protection management director says: "The start of a new financial year provides advisers with the perfect opportunity to meet with their clients and help them re-evaluate their financial and protection needs.
"Further economic recovery is expected but as we know, this is likely to be a gradual process.

Zurich is also enhancing its suite of customer literature and has developed a new guide to help customers gain greater understanding of the application and claims process.
