Absence management specialist FirstCare, has acquired Active Health Partners (AHP) increasing the employees it services by 80%.
FirstCare said the increased volume of real time absence management data - over 100,000 employees - gives the ability to build on specialist knowledge and use data to help large businesses reduce sickness absence.
Aaron Ross, CEO of FirstCare, said: "As well as enhancing the occupational health services we offer clients, the acquisition will allow us to offer their clients access to the tools we have developed that have helped reduce absenteeism so successfully.
"This acquisition strengthens our position as a provider of absence management services and is an important step in the implementation of our ambitious growth strategy.
