An advice service focussed on helping people with pre-existing medical conditions obtain life cover has been launched into the UK protection market.
Life Cover for All will target clients who suffer from conditions such as cancer, crohns disease, depression, diabetes, or those who have suffered from a stroke or heart problems in the past.
The service is hoping introductions from advisers who are not used to dealing with severe cases will form part of its business model, alongside online sales and affinity relationships with charities.
From the initial enquiry a personalised point of contact will be allocated to each customer to guide them through the process while managing their expectations.
Relationships have already been established with local and national charities, which it said aimed to help members and donors find good value life cover, while a donation will also be made to the relevant charity for every life policy put in force.
Life Cover for All was formed by Mike Weedon and Amanda Clancy.
Weedon has over 10 years experience in financial services, including positions at Sesame, Assureweb, The Exchange and Progress from Royal Liver.
Clancy has been a partner at Access Wealth Management for over 15 years and successfully fought breast cancer twice, resulting in an understanding of the issues facing consumers living with pre existing medical conditions.
