ALC Health introduces MHD underwriting for small groups

clock • 1 min read

ALC Health is offering medical history disregarded (MHD) underwriting terms to groups of just 10 employees.

The offer holds whether transferring from an existing competitor MHD programme or setting up cover for the first time.

The international medical insurance provider said it made the move as an increasing number of smaller groups are looking for simple, straightforward underwriting terms that have often only been available to the large corporate schemes.

Sarah Jewell, Managing Director of ALC Health said: "By making MHD underwriting terms available to groups of just 10 employees, ALC Health is helping to remove the barrier that many smaller companies have previously had to face when moving from one insurer to another. Now both large and small groups can enjoy the same package of benefits under the same underwriting terms".
