Defaqto's publications have been recognised as contributing to continuing professional development (CPD) by the Institute of Financial Planning (IFP).
The independent financial research company issues a range of free publications for advisers, which are focused on helping intermediaries stay informed and up-to-date on key regulatory changes, industry movements, product trends and macro-economic factors.
These are now formally recognised and accredited by the IFP as a source of continuing professional development for its members.
Sue Leech, education director at the IFP, said: "We welcome the addition of high quality learning materials into the range of options we have accredited for use by IFP members.
"Maintaining appropriate CPD is the hallmark of a professional, and I am sure that IFP members will value the addition of these publications which will help them to keep their knowledge and information up to date."
Defaqto's recently published publications have focused on the following areas:
• Platforms
• Discretionary management
• Income generating funds
