Bupa International is enhancing its company international health insurance cover for businesses with globally mobile employees.

The international private medical insurance provider (IPMI) has added a gold superior level of cover to its previous essential, classic and gold schemes, along with a new range of dental benefit options.

It says the gold superior plan has been developed following feedback from intermediaries and company customers.

Added benefits include:

  • A higher annual maximum benefit of GBP£5 million;
  • Full refund for family doctor visits, out-patient drugs and dressings;
  • Wellness benefit of GBP£1,000 including a full health screening;
  • Up to 60 outpatient therapist visits a year;
  • Routine maternity benefits increased to GBP£8,000;
  • And up to GBP£14,000 for medically necessary caesarean sections.

Increased dental cover of GBP£2,000 and additional optical cover are also available.

Plan administrators can choose from additional options including USA and assistance cover, and select differing levels of cover for each individual employee, depending on the company's requirements.
