Aetna unveils wellness programme and website

Aetna has unveiled a new website, health and wellness programme and adviser sales contest as part of the launch of its new product range.

As COVER reported previously, the international private medical insurance provider has launched a new suite of products for international employees.

It announced the new website and adviser competition at the official launch of the International Healthcare Plan.

The Global Health Connections wellness programme is included for all members and designed to encourage employees to lead healthier lifestyles while providing employers with information about how to support their staff goals.

It provides a wellness checkpoint with health reports and an action plan alongside a cancer outreach programme to support members affected by the disease and health education resources.

Members will be able to access these details along with other benefit information and support tools, including the ability to make and track claims made, on the new website.

The provider's European membership challenge gives advisers 5% additional commission for all new community or book rated schemes signed between 1 April and 1 September.

Intermediaries reaching $250,000 worth of premium during the period will an ipad while those achieving the $500,000 level will be entered into a draw for a holiday to New York or Hong Kong.
