Tenet is launching an entry-route foundation degree, giving budding IFAs the opportunity to begin working as advisers whilst studying for the qualification.
The foundation degree, developed in conjunction with Leeds City College, lasts around 18 months and covers topics including fee charging, skills application and all necessary basic adviser skills.
It enables firms to recruit candidates capable of giving basic advice under supervision after just 12 weeks of the course, following completion of the CII's new Regulation and Ethics exam R01.
The money participants earn from advising will help offset the price of the training, says Tenet.
A first intake starts in July with two weeks of distance learning for the first exam.
Tenet distribution & development director Keith Richards says the course is different from other offerings.
"Although there are similar courses available, none of them can offer an integral foundation degree which is set at QCF level 5," he says.
"There is a real need to create a flow of new advisers in readiness for RDR implementation and the great advantage of our programme is candidates can learn and earn at the same time."
