I'm still receiving calls and texts telling me how I can claim lots of money for all the horrible things people haven't actually done to me. Most of us are not huge fans of such companies, but a thought struck me the other day: if organisations and decision makers did the right thing in the first place, these companies wouldn't exist. What I mean is, if some lenders hadn't blatantly mis-sold payment protection insurance, and if employers treated those who had accidents with respect, most complaints wouldn't exist.
