Heavy workloads, personal health and financial concerns are top stress triggers
The annual Cigna 360 Wellbeing Survey found that 79% of UK women were stressed compared to 66% of men, with 10% women finding their stress ‘unmanageable'. The research revealed that heavy workloads (17%), personal health (13%) and financial concerns (13%) were considered the top stress triggers for working women, with 78% not getting enough sleep (compared to 65% of men), suggesting that the pressure of balancing both work and home responsibilities is taking its toll.
