Executives from Exeter Family Friendly will take part in a 72 mile bike ride to raise money for the charity Rainbow Living.

The cyclists will ride from Wellington to Salcombe in Devon, aiming to raise at least £2,000 for the charity.

Andy Chapman, CEO of Exeter Family Friendl and Simon Philp, director of distribution and marketing will be taking part alongside other executives.

The charity Rainbow Living provides housing for adults with learning difficulties so they can live in supported accommodation with their peers.

The money from the ride will go towards a third house for the charity to help young adults transition from their family home to life in the community.

Philip said: "We have a real mixture of cycling experience on this challenge and for some who have never really tackled any distance, it's going to be tough.

"I have been impressed by the willingness to get stuck in and do the training on weekends and evenings to make sure we're as ready as we can be on the day."

He added: "We want to raise as much money as possible for Rainbow Living's third house so any donations will certainly spur us on."
