LV= has announced that its pledge to donate 77p to Seven Families for every Flexible Protection Plan (FPP) income protection application it received has raised £3,000.
The adviser promotion ran during March and April and is in addition to the financial support LV= has previously given Seven Families.
Seven Families announced Pail Norbert, a driving instructor, as the sixth participant in the campaign at the end of April.
Myles Rix, managing director of LV= protection said: "We believe that income protection is the most relevant protection policy for working adults.
"Advisers play a crucial role in helping clients understand the value of these products and LV= is a proud supporter of Seven Families.
"As part of our programme to prioritise protecting peoples' incomes and the role that Seven Families can play in helping the public understand their financial vulnerability, it seemed natural to offer a further financial boost to this deserving cause and I'm pleased to round up our donation to £3,000.
"The Seven Families campaign has a Just Giving page, which aims to raise £7,777 from industry and adviser donations."
Peter Le Beau, chairman of the Income Protection Taskforce and spokesperson for the Seven Families initiative, said: "We would like to thank LV= for their efforts.
"The campaign has made a good start but we still need all the support we can get to make the campaign as visible as possible.
"Additional funding such as this excellent donation will allow us to carry out additional marketing activity such as radio days and social media.
"We hope advisers see the value in the campaign and continue to donate towards our target."
