The winners of the inaugural AXA PPP Health Tech & You Awards were announced at an event at the Design Museum in London last night to celebrate the best in personal health technology innovations.

AXA PPP Health Tech & You is a joint initiative led by AXA PPP healthcare with the wellbeing think tank 2020health and the Design Museum.

From over 120 entries submitted, 24 finalists were agreed upon with the category winners being picked by an expert judging panel comprising of 33 health industry professionals and leaders. The panel then decided on one overall winner from the six category winners.

Gordon Henderson, digital and innovation director of AXA PPP healthcare, said: ‘The AXA PPP Health Tech & You awards honour the new generation of technology developers that are bringing healthcare into the hands of the user and encouraging behavioural change to help maintain and improve their own and their families' health - whether at home, at work or at leisure.

"All of the finalists submitted outstanding examples of personal health technology and our winners have demonstrated that they are among the best in this emerging sector.'
