Nine independent financial advisers were among the 35 businesses to pick up a Gold Standard Award 2013.

Now in their 11th year, registration for this year's Gold Standard Awards has now begun.

The Gold Standard Awards for 2012 are once again being run in association with TCF Index, a company that helps financial firms progress towards the FSA's Treating Customers Fairly targets.

The Gold Standard Awards 2012 are now open for entries.
