A recent FOS decision has raised the stakes on payouts for mis-sold MPPI products; explains Richard Walsh.
The decision was about MPPI sold to the self-employed and how much compensation should be paid. But Ombudsman Caroline Stirling said: "I'm not persuaded Mr and Mrs M would have bought this policy at all if the restrictive terms for self-employed people had been made clear to them. ...
