Both societal aging and climate change are adding to healthcare costs, research by AXA has found, with the provider emphasising the health benefits of investing in mitigating climate change.
As part of AXA's eleventh Future Risks Report, AXA asked around 3,000 risk experts and 20,000 individuals around the world to rank the top five future risks from a selection of 25 risks, based on their potential impact on society over the next five to ten years. Climate change topped the list, with pandemics and infectious diseases ranking ninth.
