FCA calls on firms for feedback on how effective its regulation is

All fixed firms and a sample of flexible firms are expected to imminently receive the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and practitioner panel survey for 2024.

The survey - which will be carried out in conjunction with independent social research organisation Verian - is used to assist the watchdog to better understand various issues affecting firms. The regulator said on Friday (2 February) that it was looking to collect views from an increased sample of flexible firms this year, totalling 25,000. The FCA will use the feedback it collects to plan how it considers its approach to regulation.
