'Better service' tops protection advisers' Xmas wishlist

Protection advisers have highlighted higher service standards from providers as the top priority for their Christmas wishlist of what they want from the industry in 2024, according to a survey.

Seventeen protection adviser firms were asked which of the following areas they considered the most important for the industry in 2024: better service, better products, better technology, better regulation or other.  Out of the options, 14 firms (82%) said they want to see higher service standards next year. One protection adviser said we need "different" regulation and technology, rather than better, while one firm responded with a call for ‘better technology'.
