Comparison sites are more likely to be regarded as independent by consumers compared to protection advisers, according to new research.
Less than a fifth (19%) of consumers believe protection advisers are independent and show them all the options from providers, according to the Protection Review survey. This compares to 23% who believe comparison websites show an independent and whole-of-market view of protection products.
