Unum appoints Hiscox UK CEO Dye as non-executive director

Unum UK has appointed Hiscox UK chief executive and former ABI chair, Jon Dye, as an independent non-executive director.

Dye joined Hiscox UK as chief executive in September 2022, prior to which he spent over eight years as chief executive at Allianz UK, where his tenure included the acquisitions of the general insurance businesses of LV= and Legal & General. Unum said Dye has extensive board and board sub-committee experience as an executive, including as chair of the Association of British Insurers (ABI).
