Foresters Friendly Society joins GRiD

Foresters Friendly Society has become the latest member to join industry body Group Risk Development (GRiD).

The group risk business specialises in insuring police federations and works with insurance brokers and clients to provide life insurance, critical illness, and personal accident cover to over 100,000 individuals through its group schemes. Grant Streader, head of insurance operations at Foresters, stated: "We now underwrite over 50 schemes across the UK, with 30 being for police federations. We are looking to expand this area of the business and also to move into new markets."
