The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) remains 'concerned' about the effectiveness of competition in the funerals sector
Following a consultation period after the publication of its interim report in November, the CMA has decided to launch an in-depth market investigation into the funerals sector. The investigation will focus on the support of services by funeral directors and the supply of crematoria services.
