IPT 'directly contradicts government policies around health and wellbeing'

The government has announced that it is reviewing the fairness and efficiency of insurance premium tax (IPT). The move follows a campaign by members of the private medical insurance (PMI) industry, backed my AMII chair Stuart Scullion, which involved an open letter from the four largest health insurance providers ahead of last year's autumn budget, which culminated in its freeze last October.
