Cirencester Friendly pays 95.2% of claims in 2018

903 claims paid totalling nearly £4.8m last year

Income protection mutual Cirencester Friendly paid 95.2% of claims in 2018 - an increase on last year's 94.7% figure. During the year, a total of 973 applications were made last year; of these 948 (94.7%) were eligible for consideration and 903 were paid, totalling to almost £4.8m worth of benefits. Claims were rejected due to the inability to provide proof of earnings or medical evidence, no loss of earnings following illness or injury and non-disclosure.
