Underwriting, claims and operation consultant who has previously worked for Bupa

Chris Pollard will start the role of chief operating officer (COO) in March 2019, subject to regulatory approval. As a consultant, his clients have included EY, LV= and Prudential in recent years and he also served as chief underwriter at Bupa and head of underwriting, claims and operations, at Friends Life (which is now part of Aviva). He will take a place on both the full and executive boards at The Exeter, assuming responsibility for operations, underwriting and claims.
