Re-connection campaign for 'lost policies' launched by LV=

Mutual is encouraging people speak to family members who may have taken out a policy in the past and forgotten about it

LV= has launched a campaign designed to reconnect long-time policyholders who might have forgotten that they have cover. Focused on locating whole of life, savings and endowment policies taken out under Liverpool Victoria Friendly Society between 1920 and 1960, in most cases the policies would have been sold by door-to-door agents or directly through branches. Given the nature of these policies, LV= is likely to have lost touch with members who have moved house or died since the policy was taken out, given that no premiums have been collected for many years.
