Aviva launches pension valuation Amazon Alexa app

Research finds only a third check their pension annually, while one in five do it less often than that

Aviva has created a new pension skill for Amazon Alexa that allows customers to find out how much they have saved towards their retirement.  Customers registered on MyAviva can link the 'skill' to their Alexa account and then ask the voice assistant to tell them the value of their pension pot. Research carried out by Aviva found people do not tend to regularly check their pension balance. A third (34%) said they do it annually, while one in five (21%) said it is less often than that.
