Critical illness skin cancer claims for 2017 and helpful information regarding skin care
Cancer accounted for 60% of Aegon's critical illness (CI) claims in 2017, with skin cancer causing 8% of these (5% of all critical illness claims), the insurer is reminding the industry at the height of summer. Aegon paid out a total of £2.3m in total for skin cancer critical illness claims in 2017 - the largest single claim was £400,000 and the average claimant was 49 and the youngest claimant was 33.
