RedArc sets up diabetes support pilot

Three-month programme in partnership with Mapmydiabetes involving eight patients

RedArc has teamed up with NICE-endorsed online programme Mapmydiabetes to run a pilot designed to help people with type-2 diabetes to manage their condition better. Combining the technical support of Mapmydiabetes - a service which educates and aids self-management of the condition - with the human touch of RedArc nurse services, the pilot started in March and will run for three months for eight patients from RedArc with type-2 diabetes.
