Steve Webb has warned about 'rationing' of care home places and under-funding of social care.
Steve Webb, director of policy, Royal London and the former pensions minster, penned an open letter to The Times in response to a study published in The Lancet and featured in COVER magazine, which found that the UK needs 72,000 additional care home places by 2020 to meet ageing population growth.
