Today (4 July, 2024), the UK General Election takes place, with many of those on the ballots making pledges that will impact the protection and health industries.

COVER has analysed the manifestos of five of the major parties, but on the day the UK population casts its vote, here are the headlines from each. NHS support The NHS was a key talking point for all of the manifestos, with support ranging from increased investment, to pledges to decrease wait times and increase the number of available staff.
