Last month, as part of my apprenticeship development, I was asked to mystery shop five well-known protection intermediary firms. I was asked to take notes on how the process went, how it made me feel and whether I would be likely to buy from any of them and why. As a nineteen-year-old, it took quite a bit of planning before I started to make any enquiries, as I had to make sure my ‘character' was appropriate and that I had answers ready for the questions I might be asked.
