Yesterday we reported that the Daily Mail has highlighted how changes to the state pension age are leaving income policyholders unprotected. Read it here. Claimants are realising that their policies are lapsing before they are entitled to their pension, the tabloid reported, with some blaming insurers, the government - or both - because they were not informed about the possible fall-out of state pension age changes on income protection cover.
